Ritual circle is a collective act of making individually developed rituals. Usually done in a retreat into nature. The mathod of developing an individual ritual is based on a “Dream group” method created by Montague Ullman and further refined by Eero-Tapio Vuori and Jani-Petteri Olkkonen. A ritual is structured into four parts.
- The ritual envisioned by one participant – sharing the need and the purpose of the ritual, finding the settings and frame work expressing the need for tasks that will be performed by the other participants.
- Preparation of the ritual. Gathering all material checking safety and informing everyone about their task.
- The ritual starting at an agreed point in time and space and finishing at the last completed task.
- (Usually done the following day.) Giving thanks to all the participants of the ritual, both seen individuals as much as unseen aspects of nature. Reflecting and sharing the experiences. Sealing the ritual for the ritual seer who’s purpose it was.
